Testimonials
"The staff made me feel wecome and respected. They seemed genuinely concerned about my getting the best experience possible."
"My experience at The Exchange Club Family Center has been rewarding both professionally and personally. The knowledge gained will help me become a good therapist in this community. Furthermore, the network and relationships formed with the staff makes my leaving easier because I know that I will be able to call on them for future professional advice and direction."
T. Reed, MA Intern
"My experience as an intern has been priceless. There are many different areas in which to work where I've gained the experience necessary to provide the best care for future clients. I am so grateful for all of the staff and for all the opportunities for growth the ECFC has offered me both personally and professionally." Melissa Caldwell, MSS Intern
"I had the privilege of completing my internship here and moving into a staff position of counselor and facilitator of the TAME (Female Teen Anger Management) program. I use the word "privilege" because the staff offered me numerous opportunities for growth and varied experiences from individual, group and family counseling, always willingly showing the path to success in building therapeutic alliances. At the University of Memphis I had heard about large numbers of successful Family Center internships, but the experience was and continues to be a work in progress of personal growth in order to be in tune with my clients."
